In the fourth quarter of 2023, around 24.7 million residents in Thailand were eligible for social security benefits. According to Thai laws, employees, and employers must contribute to the social security fund. The amount is calculated and stands at five percent, but not more than 750 Thai baht, would be deducted from the base salary each month.
