As of October 2023, the most widespread type of experienced hacker attack in Czechia was an e-mail pretending to award the recipient a prize or inform them of an inheritance. Nearly 40 percent of the respondents experienced this type of hacker attack. A third of respondents encountered a hacker attack via an e-mail pretending to be from a delivery company or a post office. Only two percent experienced an attack via a mobile app.
