The number of finished hospitalizations in institutions with long-term psychiatric care in Czechia decreased in the observed period. While in 2010, almost 33 thousand adults finished their hospitalization, this figure dropped by more than 10 thousand by 2022. The number of finished child hospitalizations fluctuated, reaching a peak of 3075 in 2016. In 2022, over 2.8 thousand children finished hospitalization in a psychiatric institution.
