Walmex: net sales in Central America 2018-2023
In 2023, Walmart de México y Centroamérica (Walmex) generated 143.66 billion Mexican pesos in net sales in Central America, an increase of about three percent compared to the previous year. Walmex's Central America division includes Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honuras, and Nicaragua.
That same year, the highest share of regional sales came from Costa Rica with 43 percent. Together, all five countries accounted for around 16 percent of the total company sales.
