According to a survey conducted in China in 2021, the most medical costs paid by high-end health insurance plans were from private hospitals, accounting for 46.1 percent. Luxurious hospitals ranked second with 24.3 percent. High-end health insurance was commonly provided by employers to middle- and high-level employees as a way of employee care.
