In 2023, the number of foreign cruise passengers arriving in Israel reached almost 127,000. That was a moderate increase compared to the previous year, and the highest rate of cruise visitors since 2013. Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in 2020, the cruise industry did not begin to recover in Israel until 2022.
