As of the end of 2021, the National Bank of Egypt reported a net profit amounting to around 29.7 billion Egyptian pounds (1.2 billion U.S. dollars). The value of the bank's net profit increased significantly compared to 2020 when it stood at approximately 13 billion Egyptian pounds (530 million U.S. dollars). The National Bank of Egypt is one of the leading financial institutions in Africa.
