According to a 2022 survey in the Philippines, 83 percent of respondents stated that they used applications with embedded finance because it makes payments easier. In addition, 71 percent of respondents cited instant payments as among the leading reasons for using such apps. The fintech landscape in the country continues to grow, with the government sector pushing for the adaption of digital payment mechanisms in its various operations.
