For 2022's Black Friday shopping sales event, close to 40 percent of consumers in the Netherlands planned to buy themselves either clothing and shoes or electronics as a gift for the holidays. A considerable share of Dutch shoppers also planned to gift clothing or shoe products to other people that year.
