In the first half of 2024, fintech start-ups in Israel completed 29 funding rounds valued at over 412 million U.S. dollars. This suggested a moderation of the down-trend in the number of deals that began in 2022. Between 2021 and 2023, the number of investments in Israeli fintech ventures decreased by over 55 percent. Still, this technology cluster was among the leaders of the local technology sector in terms of annual total value of investments.
