In 2021, a total of approximately 25 percent of participating flexitarians in selected European countries* stated that they are likely or extremely likely to pay a higher price for plant-based cheese products as compared to conventional cheese products. Approximately 31 percent stated they were moderately likely. The answers were given under the assumption that taste and texture were identical to regular cheese.
