In 2023, around 33 percent of respondents in Germany who used social media as a source of information did not identify with any political party. Almost 35 percent of those asked were affiliated with the green party (Die Grünen). The Allensbach Market and Advertising Media Analysis (Allensbacher Markt- und Werbeträgeranalyse or AWA in German) determines attitudes, consumer habits and media usage of the population in Germany on a broad statistical basis.
