Between 2011 and 2017, value of initial public offerings (IPOs) on the Nasdaq stock exchange fluctuated. After 2018, increases in IPO values accelerated. In both 2020 and 2021, the size of IPO deals more than doubled compared to the previous year. In 2022 and 2023, however, IPO deal value on the Nasdaq stock market went back to pre-2018 levels.
