As of 2021, 5G technologies did not play a major role in companies' digital transformation. In fact, only eight percent of interviewees stated that they had a very high interest in adopting this technology. However, the share of respondents that did not have any interest in implementing the 5G technology decreased from 36 percent in 2020 to 25 percent in 2021.
