Views on priorities if provinces get additional healthcare funding Canada 2022
According to a survey conducted in January 2022 among adult Canadians, 66 percent reported that increasing the number of doctors (including family doctors) and nurses in the healthcare system should be the top priority of provinces if they receive additional money from the federal government for healthcare. Furthermore, 58 percent of respondents feel that reducing surgical wait times and backlogs should be the top priority if provinces received additional aid.
