According to a survey conducted in Malaysia between February and March 2022, 69 percent of Muslim respondents residing in Malaysia considered product quality as the leading factor while making purchases during Ramadan. This was followed by authenticity and trust in the product with a share of 65 percent of respondents in 2022. Comparatively, corporate social responsibility of the product and brand is considered by 38 percent of Muslim respondents during the shopping for Ramadan.
