In 2022, audience interest in climate change news was higher in South Africa and Kenya, compared to Nigeria. Among South Africans, 46 percent of respondents declared they were interested in news on the topic. Kenya registered a similar share (45 percent). On the other hand, less than 40 percent of the respondents in Nigeria reported being interested in climate change news.
