Ecobank Transnational Inc. operates in over 30 countries in Africa. In a survey conducted between December 2021 and May 2022, the positioning of the bank as a good quality banking institution in Africa was assessed. According to the results, Ecobank was perceived by some countries as a leading bank, while for others, the perception varied. For instance, respondents from Senegal and Guinea who had heard of the bank brand ranked it as first in comparison to other banks. On the other hand, the surveyed population in Kenya and Tanzania rated Ecobank in the 14th and 15th positions, respectively.
