In the lead up to the Russian invasion of Ukraine Urea fertilizer prices more than doubled from September to November of 2021. The invasion also effected muriate of potash. Potash prices previously stayed stable even thoughout the Covid-19 pandemic. For most of 2020 and 2021 the prices of diammonium phosphate was highest among the three types of fertilizer depicted here. In March of 2022, one metric ton of DAP cost 938.13 U.S. dollars.
