Labor force participation in the U.S. is expected to decline the most drastically in the 16- to 19-year-old age group to 5,617,000 participants by 2033. Participation rates have and are projected to hold steady for 25-to-54-year olds. Between now and 2033, the labor force participation rate is expected to decrease for almost all age groups, except for those aged 65 and older.
