From 2021 to 2030, air-to-air heat pump sales in Europe were forecast to increase by over four million units, reaching almost 4.9 million units sold in 2030. Air-to-air heat pumps are one of the most popular segments in this industry. It is a type of air source heat pump that works by transferring outside air indoors through a fan in order to warm or cool the room. The overall volume of heat pump sales in 2020 amounted to 1.6 million units.
