According to a January 2023 survey of management and IT professionals working in Italian companies, phishing attacks were the most common cyber threats encountered in the previous 12 months. Malware attacks ranked second, with more than half of respondents reporting companies encountering this security threat. Additionally, approximately 45 percent of respondents reported their company experiencing business e-mail compromise attacks.
