Opinion on the Cannes Festival by French viewers 2022
According to a survey on the image of the famous French film festival in Cannes, a big majority of French viewers consider the Cannes Festival to be one of the biggest events in the world for the movie industry (77 percent) in 2022. A similar share of respondents also thinks that the festival helps the host country France shine in the world (75 percent). At the same time, the French are well aware that "all that glitters is not gold" and consider the festival to be something superficial (71 percent) and it only helps 30 percent of the respondents to dream.
