In a survey carried out months before the Colombian presidential elections of 2022, more than half of respondents in Bogota (52.1 percent) stated they would vote for the political coalition Pacto Histórico. The coalition also had the highest share of voting intention in the South-West and Caribbean regions. Furthermore, respondents surveyed in Bogota claimed that they would vote for their former mayor and left candidate, Gustavo Petro, if the elections were held the following day.
