As the Colombian presidential elections of May 29, 2022, approached, a survey showed that over half of respondents (53.4 percent) in the age group of 25 to 34 years old intended to vote for the left-wing coalition Pacto Histórico. This is the highest share of voting intention observed amongst all age groups. Equipo por Colombia had its largest share of potential voters among Colombians aged 45 to 54 years. The survey also showed that Pacto Histórico is the political coalition with the highest voting intention, with 38 percent. Regarding candidates, Gustavo Petro led the opinion polls.
