In England, the adult social care providers faced several workforce challenges in 2021. According to this survey conducted from September to October 2021, staff recruitment was especially challenging for care homes and domiciliary care providers. In the South West region of England, nearly 90 percent of responding providers stated that staff recruitment was more challenging than before.
