According to a survey conducted in Japan during fiscal year 2023, NHK on Demand was used by more than eight percent of respondents in their sixties. The video streaming service, which is operated by the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), Japan's public broadcaster, had a lower penetration rate among younger age groups.
