As of 2020, nearly 90 percent of large firms in Africa used the internet to interact with their clients on a regular basis. On the other hand, the same internet usage rhythm was applied by 50 percent of small businesses on the continent. Overall, in the said year, Africa accounted for over 11 percent of the total internet users worldwide.
