Over the course of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the work situation of employees in Germany changed regularly. While nearly 27 percent of employees were working from home during the week ending April 2, this share decreased to only around seven percent three months later during the week ending July 9. The figures are based on a survey conducted in Germany between March and July 2020 to determine workplace situations among employees. Those listed in the survey also included hybrid work models (switching between working on site and working from home), short-time work, paid leave, unpaid leave, and unemployment.
