Most notable about the account balance in the Nordic countries is the rapid increase in Norway since 2020, rising from 1.1 percent in 2020 to over 30 percent in 2022. The account balance of the other four countries was more stable, with Finland and Iceland both having a negative balance in 2022 and 2023.
