As of October 2021, the share of adults in the United States that planned to just travel for either Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa was 20.22 percent. Meanwhile, 15.19 percent of adults planned to just travel for Thanksgiving. Comparatively, 37.42 percent of respondents stated that they would travel for none of these holidays in 2021.

Of those surveyed, 47.25 percent were male and 52.75 percent were female. The age breakdown of participants included in this survey was 25 percent in the range 18-29, 21.98 percent in the range 30-44, 30.86 percent in the range 45-60, and 22.16 percent over 60.
