In 2022, almost ten percent of individuals over 15 years of age stayed overnight or longer in a hospital as an inpatient within the past 12 months. Rates of hospital admission increased with age in most of the age groups. The highest rate of hospital admission rate was recorded for Turkish men who aged 75 or older, with above 26 percent.
