Post-Games approval rating of Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics in Japan
In a survey conducted in September 2021, after the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games were over, approximately 39 percent of respondents had a positive view on the hosting of the Games. The share of people who approved of the Games was higher than the share of those who stated that the Games should not have been hosted.
