Main reasons for exporting challenges in retail and wholesale in the UK 2022
When surveyed for the main reasons of the challenges faced in exporting goods, almost half of the wholesale and retail businesses in the United Kingdom (UK) stated that the end of Brexit-induced EU transition period was the leading reason. In contrast, only 2.3 percent of the surveyed businesses saw the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic alone as the main reason for their problems with exporting activities in the four-week period between August 1, 2022 and August 31, 2022.
