In financial year 2023, India produced around 115 million units of tires for two and three wheelers. It was an increase of around six percent in comparison to the previous year. The decrease during 2020 and 2021 was mostly due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The total tire production of India in the same year was 217 million units.
