According to a survey on consumer expectations in the fourth quarter of 2023, about 44 percent of households with savings in the Philippines came from the high-income groups or those earning 30 thousand Philippine pesos and above. In contrast, about 15 percent of households earning less than 10 thousand Philippine pesos stated they had savings.
