In 2021, approximately four in five shoppers in the United Kingdom (UK) said they were willing to hold off on purchasing home appliances until the item in question was discounted or on sale. Many UK-based shoppers felt the same way about apparel, footwear, travel, and sporting goods too. Among British consumers, bargain hunting was far less common for medicine.
