Exchange-traded mutual funds had higher number of shareholders in Russia in both of the observed periods than open-end mutual funds. By June 2021, the number of shareholders increased in each segment, with over 1.9 million shareholders in exchange-traded mutual funds and 1.1 million in open-end mutual funds.
