In a survey conducted between September and October 2019, 28 percent of the respondents in Ghana indicated that they had paid a bribe to receive public services in the country. This represented an increase by five percentage points compared to the results from the 2017 survey.

Figures are representative of people who paid bribe for public services (schools, health clinic, identity documents, police) within the 12 months prior to the survey.
