According to a survey in June 2020, more than half of Chinese respondents said they consumed more fruit and vegetables after the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, nearly 60 percent of respondents cooked more often at home.

The survey was conducted among respondents who resided in China's tier-1 and tier-2 cities with above average household income.
The respondents had an interest in food and links with health and wellbeing.
962 respondents had digestive health issues, 858 had immune health issues, and 833 of them had metabolic health issues.
The survey conducted in March 2019 was among 3,082 respondents.
