In Norway, for several political parties in the 2021 election, the most-common income bracket for male candidates is the highest; more than one million Norwegian Kroner annually. The share is particularly high among the candidates of the Conservative Party and Centre Party. Moreover, almost 10 percent of the Green Party's male candidates earn less than 100 thousand Norwegian Kroner annually, as a fair share of them are scholars or students. Most of the parties' male candidates earn more than their female counterparts. The parliamentary elections in Norway are due to be held on September 12 and 13 2021.
