According to a survey in 2021, 75 percent of Filipino respondents found that the local government units' response on protocols related to the COVID-19 pandemic could be strengthened. These protocols included rules such as social distancing, etc. Among the other areas of LGU response that the community found could be strengthened were restrictions on travel and mobility as well as health facilities and health services.
