According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2021 in South Korea on the frequency of using subscription Video-on-Demand and streaming services, roughly 48.14 percent of respondents between 45 and 54 years old stated they used such services several times a week. Among 16 to 24 years old video streaming services subscribers, almost 1.6 percent of respondents answered that they never used the service.
