In the first half of 2021, the neighborhood Gangnam-gu in South Korea's capital Seoul had a user penetration rate of around 106.5 percent for second-hand market app Daangn Market. The penetration rate exceeded one hundred percent in two more areas, Sejong Special Self-Governing City and Hwaseong in Gyeonggi province. This is possible due to the application feature of setting a maximum of two areas as "my neighborhood" for when users want to use the app at others places they often frequent, for example their workplace, as well.
