According to a Taiwanese consumer survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2024, about 75 percent of respondents who subscribed to multiple platforms specified exclusive access to the desired content as the main reason to pay for more than one subscription video-on-demand (SVOD). Ad-free viewing experiences and original content were highly valued among respondents as well.
