Original question: "Which of the following external factors would prompt you to consider having a second or third child?"
The survey was conducted nationwide among pregnant women, women who were expecting to be pregnant within 2 years, and parents of both genders of young children (up to 6 years old). All respondents were from China's tier-1 to tier-4 cities.
