Production of cereals in Sub-Saharan Africa 2007-2029
In the period between 2017 and 2019, the average volume of cereal production in Sub-Saharan Africa amounted to roughly 141 million metric tons. Compared to a decade prior, the volume of cereal incremented by over 31.3 million metric tons. Furthermore, it is projected that by 2029, the production of cereal in the sub-region will continue to increase, reaching around 169.4 million metric tons.
