Number of students from Central and Eastern Europe in Egypt 2016, by country
As of 2016, the total number of students from Central and Eastern European countries in Egypt amounted to 662. Of these, the majority originated from Turkey, while 216 came from the Russian Federation. It is worth noting that, as of the same year in Egypt, over 35 thousand foreign students in the country were registered as being from unknown regions.
