Number of students from Central Asia in Egypt 2016, by country
As of 2016, the overall number of students in Egypt amounted to 359. Of those, the majority were from Tajikistan with around 167 students. Moreover, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan followed with around 69 and 57 students, respectively. It is worth noting that, as of the same year in Egypt, over 35 thousand foreign students in the country were registered as being from unknown regions.
