Sustainable investment assets had a positive growth rate in all regions except for in Europe during the period from 2018 to 2020. During that period, Europe had a negative growth of 13 percent, but the source, however, mentions that the way sustainable investments are defined in Europe and Australasia has changed significantly in recent years, and comparisons between regions should be made with caution. The most significant growth was found in Japan during the period between 2014 and 2016, when sustainable investment assets grew by around 6,692 percent.
